Ufficialmente si chiama Li-Ion 6S4P 16000 mAh 40A ed è solo uno dei formati speciali realizzati su richiesta in Farins Frames. 

Si tratta di un imponente pacco batterie composto da 24 celle Samsung INR21700 da 4000 mAh assemblate in 4 pacchetti in parallelo da 6 celle ciascuno e da una scheda BMS per la gestione della sicurezza e il bilanciamento delle singole celle. il risultato è un "mattoncino", relativamente leggero, circa 1.750 Kg, dalle forme compatte e molto regolari che permette un comodo storage in cassetta o nel baule dell'auto.

Con una batteria del genere il pilota si garantisce alimentazione mobile, di lunga durata ed affidabile per il caricabatterie da campo, anche multi-canale, in grado di sostenere l'uso intensivo anche durante un intero week end di voli.

L'uscita è rappresentata da un robusto spinotto XT90 con cavetti 12 AWG e naturalmente non c'è spinotto di bilanciamento, operazione gestita dal BMS. A dispetto dell'imponenza del formato, risulta comunque molto facile da operare.

Ma questa piccola centrale elettrica portatile non è l'unico formato speciale che possiamo assemblare: la modularità delle celle Li-Ion ci permette infatti di costruire pacchi batterie su misura delle esigenze dell'utente, sia per quanto riguarda il formato, con layout anche a sezione triangolare, che la capacità e tensione espressa.

Its official name is Li-Ion 6S4P 16000 mAh 40A and it's just one of the custom made special battery packs we at Farins Frames can make.

It's a massive battery pack made by 24 of Samsung INR21700 4000 mAh cells, put together in 4 parallel 6S sub-packs, coupled with a BMS controller for the optimal safety and single cells balancing. The result is a little "brick" of just 1750 Kgs, with a compact and very regular form factor, relatively easy to store in the car trunk or into your field toolbox.

With such battery pack, the pilot get mobile, reliable and long lasting power, enough to light up any battery charger for a whole weekend of good flying! The power outlet has been equipped with a tough XT90 plug with 12AWG high quality silicon cables. Of course there is no balance plug since the BMS takes care of the whole balancing management and that results in a simplified charging routine despite of the shapes.

This little, portable power station is just one of different form factor we can make: thanks to Li-Ion cells' modularity , we can face almost any custom layout as needed by the pilot, even triangular.
